Bin Zhao
I specialize in applied econometrics, with research interests spanning labor and health economics. My work employs advanced causal inference and machine learning techniques to address important policy questions. I have presented my research at conferences such as the NBER Chinese Economy Working Group Meeting, and my recent projects have received revise-and-resubmit invitations from Labour Economics and Economic Inquiry. With over 11 years of experience as a sole instructor, I have taught a broad range of courses, including Principles and Intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and Advanced Food Economics and Marketing. I am deeply committed to student mentorship and academic advising. I received numerous 鈥淓xcellent Student Advisor鈥 awards in recognition of the commitment to student growth and well-being.
